11.2.7. Removal and installation of assembly of a forward nave and bearing

Removal of assembly of a forward nave and the bearing does it unsuitable for the subsequent application. Assembly will need new assembly.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release bolts of fastening of wheels, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and reliably establish it on axial support. Give bolts of fastening of wheels and remove a wheel.
  1. By means of a hammer and a chisel remove a dustproof cap from a nave.
  1. To Rasklinta nave nut.
  1. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth. Release, but do not remove a nave nut.

Always release and tighten a nave nut only at the car lowered on the earth. The effort necessary for untwisting of this nut (which it is tightened very hardly), can fall down the car from axial support.


  1. To Poddomkratta a front of the car and reliably establish it on axial support. Remove once again a forward wheel.
  1. Remove a support of the forward brake mechanism and its fixing arm (see. Head Brake system). It is not obligatory to disconnect a brake hose. Suspend a support aside on a piece of a wire that it did not disturb work.
  2. Remove a brake disk (see. Head Brake system).
  1. Give a nut of a nave and pull together nave and bearing assembly from a rotary pin. If it became attached, you can beat out it.
  1. If the internal holder of the bearing remained on a rotary pin (so sometimes happens), remove a dustproof cover behind the bearing and by means of a stripper remove an internal holder.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a new dustproof cover.
  1. Get a new nave and the bearing on a rotary pin. If it is necessary to make effort, press only on an internal holder of the bearing.
  1. Get a new nut of a nave and tighten it while fingers.
  2. Establish a brake disk, its zenkovanny fixing screw and a brake support (see. Head Brake system).
  3. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
  4. Tighten a nave nut with demanded effort. Do not forget to make it at the car lowered on the earth, instead of on axial support.
  5. To Poddomkratta a front of the car and reliably establish it on axial support. Remove a wheel.
  6. Insert a nut collar into a flute on an axis.
  7. Put suitable hermetic on a new dustproof cap and get a cap by means of a kiyanka with soft the brisk.
  8. Establish a wheel and bolts of fastening of wheels. Lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of wheels with demanded effort.
