13.4. Removal and installation of the panel of an internal covering of doors

If the radio receiver on your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before disconnecting a battery wire. Apply for information in the Section System of protection of an audiosystem from theft and language of an instrument guard before a wire detachment.


If after wire accession on your instrument guard there were inscriptions not in that language which is necessary to you, address to the Section System of protection of an audiosystem from theft and language of an instrument guard where procedure of installation of the necessary language is described.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire of the battery.
  2. Give all fixing screws of the panel of an internal covering of doors and assemblies of the handle of a door and an armrest.
  1. On models with manual window regulators remove the window regulator handle.
  1. On models with electric window regulators take assembly of the switch and disconnect it.
  2. Unclench fixing clips of the panel of a covering of doors. Make it on all edge of the panel around to release the panel.
  3. Having disconnected all clips, unbend the covering panel, disconnect all electric sockets and remove the panel from the car.
  4. For access to an internal part of a door accurately remove a plastic sealant.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before establishing the internal panel of a covering of a door, do not forget to replace all clips of the panel which could drop out or break during panel removal.
  2. Connect electric sockets (where it is necessary) and place the panel on a door. Press the panel into place that clips were latched, then establish the handle of a door and an armrest. Where it is necessary, establish the window regulator handle.
