12.13. Adjustment of a pedal of a brake

After replacement or removal of the main cylinder or the vacuum amplifier of brakes always it is necessary to regulate height of a pedal of a brake. Thus it is necessary to adjust also and the stoplight switch (see. Section Check and adjustment of the switch of a stoplight).


Measure distance between bottom edge of a pedal of a brake (i.e. edge which is further everything from a partition) and a partition And, and compare this size to that that is provided in the Size table and adjusting data at the end of the Management. If these sizes do not coincide, release a lock-nut (1) on a pusher and turn a pusher, holding thus a fork (3) in an immovability until they will not coincide.

On models with left foreign management adjustment is made on the left side of a cross-section shaft after removal of a ware box, but the distance nevertheless is measured from a pedal.
