10.10. Replacement of lateral epiploons of a case of differential

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To Poddomkratta a back of the car and reliably establish it on axial support.
Merge lubricant liquid of differential (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car).
Separate a power shaft from differential (see. The section Removal and installation of power shafts) also suspend it on a piece of a wire away from a working zone. Do not leave it to hang without support since it can be damaged.

By means of the suitable lever or a big screw-driver remove a flange from differential - be ready to pick up a flange when it will separate.

Examine a flange shaft. If on it the flute in a place of its contact to an epiploon was carried by, replace a flange.

Take an old epiploon the special tool or a big screw-driver. Make sure that did not scratch an epiploon nest in a differential casing.

Cover a new epiploon with lubricant liquid of differential, then by means of a big replaceable head or a piece of a pipe and a hammer establish an epiploon into place. Track, that the epiploon was established correctly (sponges inside).

Insert a new lock ring into a flute. Track, that both its ends completely rose in a flute.
Cover an epiploon sponge with greasing, a loan establish a differential flange. Push a flange inside, yet will not feel that the lock ring rose into place.
The rest of procedure of installation also make as it should be, the return to removal.
