15.2. Removal and control unit installation by operating modes of a heater and air conditioner

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire of the battery.

If the radio receiver of your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before a battery detachment.


If after connection of the battery of an inscription on an instrument guard appeared not in that language, address to the Section System of protection of an audiosystem from theft and language of an instrument guard where procedure of installation of the necessary language is described.

  1. Remove the central console (see. Head Body).
  2. Remove a radio receiver (see. Head System of onboard electric equipment), then remove handles from control levers a heater and the air conditioner.
  3. Remove a finishing frame and take the control unit from the dashboard. It will allow you to disconnect management wires from control lever assembly.
  4. Disconnect wires from the clips holding them on assembly of the lever, having marked them previously for the correct connection.
  5. Disconnect the electric socket from the control unit.
  6. Give screws of fastening of a frame to the control unit and remove the control unit.
