15.3. Removal and installation of the heat exchanger of a heater

If the radio receiver of your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before a battery detachment. |

|
- Disconnect a negative wire of the battery.
- Merge cooling system (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car).
- Remove the central console (see. Head Body). Cover an old blanket rugs in a forward part of salon; it will protect them from spots if the cooler remains spill.

Removal
|
|
- Disconnect electric sockets of the temperature sensor.
- Remove the thongs holding conducting on a casing, and take conducting aside.
- Open cover fastenings.
- Give screws of fastening of a cover and uncover.
- Disconnect all shtutserny connections of lines of a heater from the heat exchanger. Be careful: a little cooler thus can spill.
- Having raised at first the right side of the heat exchanger, remove it.

Installation

Always use new sealing rings at accession of okhladitelny hoses to the heater heat exchanger. |
Installation make upside-down. Fill cooling system (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car), then start the engine at the included heater and check work of a heater and existence of leaks.
