11.1.6. Removal and installation of the pump of the amplifier of a steering

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To Poddomkratta the car and reliably establish it on axial support. Remove the engine pallet.
  2. On the E28 models ("retro") discharge hydraulic system, having squeezed out a pedal of a brake about 20 times.
  3. Disconnect a hose of the returnable line and merge liquid from the tank in the pure container. Disconnect the inlet line from the pump.
  4. If it is necessary for you to remove a pulley from the pump, pull a hand a driving belt of the pump and give nuts or pulley bolts.
  5. Release a bolt of a natyazhitel of a driving belt of the steering pump and remove a belt (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car).
  6. Give fixing bolts and remove the steering pump.
Typical fixing bolts of the steering pump are specified by shooters.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation make upside-down. Reliably tighten nuts and bolts. Adjust a tension of a driving belt (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car).
  2. Add liquid in the tank to the necessary level (see. Head Routine maintenance of the car) also pump over system (see. Section Pumping of hydraulic system of the mechanism of hydrostrengthening of a wheel).
