Injector of cold start

Check

At this check the temperature of a cooler should be lower 30 ° than S.Zhelatelno that the engine was stopped a few hours ago. Disconnect from an injector of cold start (the electric socket is shown by an arrow) and take him aside from a working zone - in a zone there will be pairs of fuel.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Unscrew two screws of fastening of an injector to a flange of the inlet pipeline and take an injector. The fuel line remains attached. Wipe an injector nozzle. Disconnect ignition system, having disconnected from the central contact of a cover of the distributor of ignition a wire of the coil of ignition and having connected it a crossing point to the case of the block of cylinders. Turn on for 1 minute the fuel pump, having short-circuited the corresponding contacts of the relay (look the Section Check of pressure of fuel / the fuel pump). Fuel should not leave an injector nozzle. If fuel leaves a nozzle, the injector is faulty and it is necessary to replace it. Switch off ignition and restore a former condition of the socket of the relay.

  1. The temperature switch defines temperature of the engine and operates work of an injector of cold start. Usually the switch is located above ahead near the sensor of temperature of a cooler. For this check the temperature of a cooler should be lower 30 ° than S.Zhelatelno that the engine was stopped a few hours ago. Disconnect ignition system, having disconnected from the central contact of a cover of the distributor of ignition a wire of the coil of ignition and having connected it a crossing point to the case of the block of cylinders. Shift from the temperature switch a rubber cover and check the voltmeter on contact of the socket to a black / yellow wire suitable to it tension existence.
  1. Let the assistant will include ignition and a starter. The voltmeter at inclusion of a starter should show tension. Tension should be present approximately during from 6 to 10 seconds, depending on engine temperature.

Injector of cold start

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove in fuel system pressure (look the Section pressure Removal in system of injection of fuel).
  2. Disconnect from an injector of cold start the electric socket.
  3. If it is possible, a cap key or a long face head unscrew attached to an injector of cold start the union of the fuel line. On other models simply weaken a collar of a hose and disconnect a hose from an injector.
  4. Unscrew bolts of fastening of an injector of cold start and remove an injector.

Temperature switch

Before the beginning of this procedure wait complete cooling of the engine. Also for removal of residual pressure in system of cooling unscrew a cover of a radiator or a broad tank.

  2. Disconnect from the former switch the electric socket.
