16.10. Replacement of a regulator of tension The regulator of tension operates charge system, limiting target tension of the generator. The regulator is the pressurized knot and to adjustment is not subject.
If the voltmeter shows that the charge does not occur (or if the lamp of control of charge/ignition burns) and the generator, the battery, a tension of a belt and electric sockets seem as it should be, send a tension regulator on check to the dealer or the electrician.
Disconnect a negative wire of the storage battery.

The regulator tension is established outside on the generator case. For replacement of a regulator unscrew nuts and remove from a generator cover a small cap of plugs, then unscrew nuts and uncover. |

On Bosch generators the regulator of tension acts in film easily. This type of a regulator is incorporated with knot of brushes. |
Installation is return to removal.

Before installation of a regulator of tension check a condition of rings of a collector. Highlighting a lamp, check existence of furrows and deep flutes of wear. If necessary replace the generator. |

- Remove from the engine the generator (look the Section Removal and generator installation).
- Remove a back cover and the diode rectifier, unscrew screws of fastening of a regulator of tension and separate a regulator from the generator case.
- Installation is return to removal.
